Sheba George (she/her) is a Senior Consultant at SEEK Development. She brings to SEEK her expertise in global development, international advocacy, and foreign policy. At SEEK, she supports multilateral institutions and public sector actors in developing data-based policy decisions, driving advocacy and resource mobilization efforts, and building multi-sector partnerships.
With cross-sectoral expertise in global development and a strong grasp of foreign policy measures, especially those governing the Global South, Sheba helps clients navigate the global development landscapes and devise impactful strategies to influence policy change. Drawing upon her expertise in spearheading advocacy efforts at a global stage, Sheba also supports clients in developing and deploying effective advocacy and resource mobilization efforts.
Previously, Sheba worked in foreign policy at the European Commission, advising EU policy makers on developing international development policies and facilitating foreign policy partnerships. Prior to that, Sheba worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), advising governments on the integration and advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and associated developmental policies. Sheba has managed global development projects in liaison with national governments in over seven countries across Europe, the Global South, and the Middle East. As a practicing advocate, Sheba has also served as a Delegate to several major global forums including the United Nations, the G7, and the World Economic Forum.
Sheba holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree, with a specialization in Policy Analysis from the Hertie School of Governance in Germany and a Bachelor of Science in International Foreign Service (BSFS) degree with a specialization in International Politics and Global Governance from Georgetown University in the US.
