Laura Klinkhammer (she/her) is an Associate Director at SEEK Development, leading the Strategic Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Practice. She brings more than 13 years of experience in international development combined with top-tier strategy consulting work in the public sector. At SEEK, she applies her expertise to support multilateral institutions as well as philanthropy and civil society clients with strategy and advocacy projects across all sectors.
With vast experience in managing multi-stakeholder processes, strategizing for effective advocacy and development finance knowledge, Laura advises clients in pivotal moments for their financial sustainability. She guides project teams throughout the full project implementation cycle and ensures delivery of the highest quality.
Previously, Laura worked in strategic consulting and in different positions for the German government on development and foreign policy. As a Policy Officer in the German Federal Chancellery, Laura was responsible for the multilateral portfolio, including during the German G7 Presidency 2015, the SDG Summit, and humanitarian and health-related crisis management. Prior to this, Laura worked in the Strategy Department at GIZ as well as the World Bank division of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Prior to joining SEEK, Laura was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company supporting public sector clients on strategy and organizational transformation projects.
Laura holds a Master of Science in International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a degree in Economics from Maastricht University.
