
David Braun (he/him) is an Associate Consultant at SEEK Development. He brings a strong background in quantitative data analysis and econometric methods applied to climate adaptation, education and agricultural development. He has experience working with German ministries, municipalities and government agencies on equitable cities. At SEEK, he is particularly engaged in the intersection of climate change, agriculture and health, driven by his passion for human-nature dynamics.
David previously worked as a consultant at the World Bank, providing data-driven insights into the political economy of climate adaptation and service delivery in protracted crisis states. As a Junior Advisor at the GIZ, he worked with early-stage African agri-tech start-ups, where he collaborated with founders, investors and external advisors to make start-ups investment-ready. At eProd Solutions Ltd. he was responsible for developing a digital tool to ease agricultural audits for organic certification in East Africa.
David holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Copenhagen, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Georg-August-University Göttingen.
