Emily Barter (she/her/hers) is an Associate Consultant at SEEK Development with a focus on economic development and community improvement. She was drawn to SEEK based on her keen interest in social impact and progressing sustainable development around the world.
Prior to joining SEEK, Emily worked on the Economic Development team of a major infrastructure firm, where she supported socio-economic analysis of proposed infrastructure projects, including those related to renewable energy, smart infrastructure and housing. In addition to this, Emily has worked as a Social Value Consultant on a large project in north London, working to maximize social impact outcomes for the local community and undertaking quantitative and qualitative impact analysis.
Emily holds a Master’s in Development Studies from the School of International Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Oxford
