Lydia Sung
Associate Consultant

Lydia Sung (she/her) is an Associate Consultant at SEEK Development. She brings to SEEK more than six years of experience spanning public and social sector consulting, international development work, as well as journalism. At SEEK, she is particularly drawn to the Education and Global Health practices, driven by her passion for public impact and interest in human development topics.

With project management and stakeholder engagement expertise gained from her cross-sectoral profile, Lydia supports multilaterals and purpose-driven organizations in devising impact-oriented strategies and partnerships.

Previously, Lydia worked with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Arbeit (GIZ), the German development agency, in Cambodia on strengthening the country’s social protection system. In Hong Kong, she was project manager at a boutique consultancy working to improve public service models and outcomes of local government agencies, philanthropic foundations and NGOs through human-centric research and innovative community engagement. Lydia began her career as a journalist and producer at both local and international broadcasters including Thomson Reuters.

Lydia has a Master’s in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance as well as a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a second major in Politics and Public Administration from The University of Hong Kong.
