Mareike Fürst (she/her) is a Consultant at SEEK Development. She brings to SEEK experience in sustainable development, global development, and economic policy, combined with data analysis skills. At SEEK, she focuses on projects spanning Development Finance, Global Health, Education, and Climate.
With her experience in international development, Mareike supports organizations in global health, education and climate with strategy development, advocacy, and resource mobilization. Drawing on her expertise in development finance and data analytics, she is also a member of the Donor Tracker team to provide up-to-date donor market analytics to clients and the wider advocacy landscape.
Previously, she worked as an Associate Fellow at the United Nations System Staff College developing and facilitating trainings on sustainable development and circular economy for UN clients. Mareike also interned at other organizations in the field of global development and economic policy, including the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Tunis and Mexico City, as well as at the German Federal Ministry of Economics and at a think tank in Bogota.
Mareike holds a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, as well as a Bachelor in European Studies from Maastricht University.
