Thomas Gradel is a Consultant at SEEK Development. He applies his analytical skills to the development of recommendations for international organizations, including the World Health Organization, the Global Partnership for Education, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, across a wide range of topics. Combining experience in project management with expertise in global development, human rights, and anti-corruption, he conducts research and analyses international development policy and financing, supporting clients in their organizational development, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining SEEK, Thomas worked as Managing Director at the Austrian Chapter of Transparency International. He managed national and international anti-corruption projects and consulted public and private actors on integrating anti-corruption and transparency standards into their policies and operations. Before that, Thomas was a communications consultant at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the European Commission, and UNICEF, where he developed and implemented communication strategies and campaigns on several human-rights issues.
Thomas holds a master’s degree with honors from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, combining Business Administration with Intercultural Relations and Foreign Languages. He also participated in the Peace Studies program at the University of Pisa. He focused his studies on international business relations and the social and economic impact of companies on societies. Thomas is a German native speaker, is fluent in English and Italian, and possesses good working knowledge of French and Spanish.
