Cindi Lewis is a Senior Consultant at SEEK Development. As a doctoral-trained industry professional, Cindi has an extensive public-health research background and sound pragmatic experience in strategic development and project management in health care reform from holding executive-level positions in private and non-profit organizations. At SEEK, Cindi’s key sectoral focuses are Global Health and Education. She is part of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and WHO project teams, with a special emphasis on content and editorial development for the Donor Tracker website.
Prior to joining SEEK, Cindi was an Executive Director at Advocate Community Partners (now SOMOS Healthcare Inc.), where she launched and oversaw the training of interdisciplinary teams that worked to establish value-based payment systems and patient-centered medical home standards in over 650 independent physician practices. Before that, Cindi held various managerial positions at KPMG LLP US, New York City Health and Hospitals (OneCity Health), Center for Regional Healthcare Innovation (Westchester Medical Center), and the Finger Lakes Performing Provider System (FLPPS) to design and manage large-scale healthcare transformation projects in process improvement, cultural competency and health literacy, workforce development, and patient engagement.
Cindi holds a doctorate in Translational Biomedical Sciences from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from Claflin University, and a diploma from Nanjing University in Mandarin and Chinese Philosophy. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Cindi is a native English speaker with proficiency in French and Spanish.
