VENRO publishes SEEK study on German ODA flows

Thursday, November 16th, 2017

German development-CSO umbrella body VENRO (Verband Entwicklungspolitik und Humanitäre Hilfe) has just published a study, 'Die Entwicklung der deutschen ODA bis 2020: Was muss die Bundesregierung tun, um das 0,7-Prozent-Ziel zu erreichen?' authored by SEEK's Raimund Zühr, Alexander Reitzenstein, and Sabine Campe, on the future of Germany's official development assistance (ODA) funding flows.

The report's key message is that Germany needs to spend an additional €17.8 billion from 2018 to 2020 if it wants to maintain its level of ODA spending at the 0.7%-of-GNI target.
