Maximilian Sandbaek is a Consultant at SEEK Development. He has a background in business administration and management, with a particular emphasis on finance, global development and entrepreneurship. In his master’s thesis, in cooperation with Germany’s KfW Development Bank, he examined the challenges and opportunities for smallholders in agricultural value chains. At SEEK, his sectoral focus is on agriculture with a functional focus on development strategies and finance.
Prior to joining SEEK Development, Maximilian worked at the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on strategic and organizational challenges for clients in the private and public sector. Further, he gained insights into global development while at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris, by focusing on implementing policies to enhance the competiveness and improve the business climate for countries in Central Asia.
Maximilian holds a Masters in Management from the University of Mannheim and ESSEC Business School in Paris. He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo.
