Strategic Communications Lead
Adèle Sulcas is Strategic Communications Lead at SEEK. She brings international journalism, management consulting, and global health experience, along with specialized knowledge of HIV, nutrition, and anthropological perspectives on health and medical systems. She leads the editorial team supporting the Donor Tracker website, as well as content for the Donor Tracker’s and SEEK’s media outreach and partnerships.
Before joining SEEK, Adele worked at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the World Health Organization, McKinsey & Co, The Sunday Independent newspaper (South Africa), Elle magazine (United States), and Mirabella magazine. At the Global Fund she held senior roles in private-sector partnerships and communications. She managed the Fund’s partnership with (RED) as well as other pro bono media partnerships. Adele co-created the Fund’s ‘Access to Life’ advocacy project, for which she produced, wrote, and edited working with Magnum Photos in New York. Her journalism in South Africa prior to moving into the global-health sector focused on HIV, politics, the environment, and health.
Adele holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, and a Master of Science in medical anthropology from the University of Oxford.
